EcoCooling is currently looking for people to join the expanding team at our warehouse location in Risby, Bury St Edmunds. Positions available include:

 

Factory Operative

Involvement in all aspects, from unboxing and inspecting components, wiring and fitting components to cabinets, to packaging finished product for dispatch.

The entire team is required to help in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of work and welfare areas.

Attributes applicants must have:

·        Ability to conform to strict health and safety rules

·        Ability to fit into a team, take instruction from team leaders and respond positively to feedback regarding the quality of work and health and safety.

·        Ability to pick up new skills quickly and help others do the same.

·        Ability to meet targets with good time management skills.

Other things we are interested in an applicant:

·        First Aid knowledge

·        Technical skills (hands-on experience, personal or professional, working with tools)

·        Forklift experience

·        Experience working in a warehouse environment

Other:

·        Potential for overtime

·        Potential for full time and or team leadership roles based on performance and competence

 

Factory Team Leader

Making sure correct health and safety behaviour is being observed

·        Quality control

·        Be part of the building process

·        Make sure their team are meeting daily targets

·        Communicating with the production manager regularly for updates

·        Train warehouse operatives on processes and tools

Administration Assistant

We are seeking a confident and efficient admin assistant to support the day to day running of our business. The person must be self -motivated, efficient and be capable of providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

Job brief

responsibilities include making travel and meeting arrangements, updating spreadsheets dealing with deliveries and logistics and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel. previous experience is not a necessity.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Attend meetings and take detailed minutes
  • distribute email correspondence letters, and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Update company documentation
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

Requirements

  • Although experience as an administrative assistant is useful it is more important that you can demonstrate the skills required
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures would be an advantage but not essential
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
