  • Due to stratification mezzanine floors are hotter than the rest of the building
  • People go on the mezzanine because of loading and equipment stays on the floor
  • This makes the problem worse as the energy rises from the equipment
  • Internal coolers work well on mezzanines provided they are well ventilated
  • The four way plenum is used to precisely direct air flows
