CPD Training
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is the means of improving the knowledge and skills of personnel throughout their working lives.
Evaporative Cooling is an emerging technology in the HVAC sector. Many end users, specifiers and engineers have had no detailed exposure to evaporative cooling as part of their training or experience. EcoCooling Limited provides a range of CPD training modules to fill this gap within the category of Direct and Indirect Adiabatic Cooling.
The standard modules are;
- An Introduction to Evaporative Cooling (1hr)
- A Technical Overview of Evaporative Cooling Systems (4 hrs)
- The application and design of evaporative cooling systems (Full day)
The range of courses can accommodate all ranges of experience and competence. The intended recipients are technical personnel responsible for selection, specification and design of HVAC systems.
The courses are presented by Alan Beresford who is Managing Director of EcoCooling Limited. A graduate Mechanical Engineer who held senior engineering and operation positions in the manufacturing sector prior to establishing a business dedicated to evaporative cooling. Alan has developed and designed modular evaporative coolers to meet European standards of operation, control and performance. Additionally, he has developed Legionella control systems to meet the most exacting standards.
