Unlike air conditioning evaporative cooling uses clean fresh air, allowing odours and bacteria to be expelled naturally through the ventilation system without being re-circulated.
When Evaporative cooling is used as part of a balanced ventilation system to cool a building, this allows the exterior air to be used most of the time, making the most use of free cooling when available, therefore minimising costs and using natural resources.

Unique Water Control System

A unique water control system is used in the cooler to maximise efficiency by the control of scale build up to prevent unnecessary water wastage and the build up of bacteria - A patented 4 probe water level system measures the water at 4 levels to ensure that water is drained completely away when the sump empties to ensure no build up of bacteria and a top level probe prevents overfill of the system and hence water wastage. The 2 middle probes control the inflow and outflow of water.
The system can be set for varying levels of water ph ensuring that scale build up is kept to a minimum and water is brought in only when required. The system re-circulates water until the salt build up is sufficient for the sump to be completely drained and new water brought in.
Low risk of Legionalla
NO water droplets .... NO water above 20°C in the system ... NO stagnant water
There has been NO KNOWN case of Legionnaires disease in an evaporative cooler and there are over 20 MILLION coolers installed in the western world.
