Quadrant Connections Limited is a leading European cable assembly manufacturer specialising in coaxial and multi-wire cable assemblies, wiring harnesses and panel assemblies, supplying UK and other European markets.
EcoCooling were called in to provide a solution to a severe overheating problem which they were experiencing around their assembly tables in their production area. This was being caused by solar gain through the many windows and the heat generated from the assembly process itself.
6 ECPD roof mounted Evaporative coolers were used to solve the problem. Extraction for the system is provided by the peripheral windows and some existing roof mounted extraction. Discharge of the cooled air is through 8-way plenum grills to avoid any potential draughts. The production area is now very comfortable in summer and the workforce are delighted with the installation.
