The Coefficient of Performance (COP) of computer room equipment varies. The very best CRAC's with full free cooling options and variable speed fans operate at a COP of ~3.7. In reality most 'good' systems achieve a COP of ~2.0. Many sites put as much energy into their cooling systems as they put into their IT equipment meaning the true COP is 1.0.
