Here at EcoCooling, we have been working from home for a few weeks now so we’re bringing you some tips and tricks that have been helping us out.

We’ve been sharing our top tips on our Twitter and LinkedIn pages over the last couple of weeks but we thought it would be helpful to have them all together in one place.

Hopefully, you find them helpful as you navigate your way through the home working landscape.

Tip 1: Stay Fuelled

This is all about making sure you have enough snacks to keep you going throughout the day. Having something every four hours is the recommended advice but we’ll let you choose how ‘well balanced’ these are.

Tip 2: Stay Hydrated

Make sure you keep yourself well hydrated throughout the day. Non-caffeinated and non-fizzy drinks are best, but we’re just a coffee or two won’t do any harm!

Tip 3: Get Moving

Working from home can mean you end up sitting all day so make sure you get moving, whether it is a walk around the garden or a home workout. Just anything that is isn’t another trip to the biscuit tin!

Tip 4: Get Dressed

Our next work from home tip is to get up and get dressed. Lounging around in your PJs should be reserved for the weekends. No matter how comfy they may be, you’ll be much more productive in proper clothes.

Tip 5: Create a Workspace

Having a designated workspace to keep you focused is vital. Whether it’s a table corner in your flat or a room you can hide away in, having a proper set up is key to your success.

Tip 6: Stay Connected

This importance of this final tip cannot be underestimated. It’s crucial that you keep talking to your colleagues throughout the day to keep you motivated and positive. Here at EcoCooling, we aim to call each other at least twice a day for a social catch up as well as for work updates.
