Dataceter Forum

With just under a week to go until Datacenter Forum Copenhagen, we’re thrilled to announce that EcoCooling’s MD, Alan Beresford, has been added to the speaker line up!

Alan will be talking all about the H2020 funded Boden Type DC ONE (BTDC) project based in Sweden and addressing the question; ‘Using Holistic Control and Management Strategies have we made this the Most Efficient Data Centre in the World?’.

You can expect to find out more about EcoCooling’s involvement in the Swedish based project through a technical presentation that will outline the innovations made in holistic control, which have enabled PUEs of 1.01 for both OCP and ASIC servers. The holy grail of efficiency will be addressed with the advantages of a holistic approach discussed, from controlling servers and cooling fans to monitoring chip temperatures. You’ll see for yourself how effective this has been at BTDC in ensuring ultimate IT efficiency, no greenwashing here!

What’s more, you’ll uncover the benefits of simple and futureproofed modular building and control techniques and get an insight to why we believe we have created the lowest total cost of ownership facility in the world.

If you’re interested in finding out more about this fascinating project make sure you’re in Hall 2 at 11:30am to hear all about it. For the full event agenda, visit the Datacenter Forum Copenhagen site.

We hope to see you there.
